Tomorrow, our poor little Woozle has her first full day at school, from 08h30 until 3pm. Such a long day for such a little girl! She will be worn out. How can they do that to four year olds? I can't see any academic advantage because children of that age aren't sufficiently developed for such long periods of formal learning. Play is more appropriate for such little ones. The cares of adult life come soon enough, so why not let a child be a child for just a bit longer?
Her Mum is going to fetch her at 3pm and take her home on the bus. If its cold, she will take a thermos travel mug with some hot soup in it for her.
