My specs prescription lenses have always been complicated. When I went to pick up the repaired pair yesterday, I asked for a quote for new lenses like the ones I already have. Can you guess how much they will be? Well, prepare for a shock. £305.00. Just for the lenses. Not including VAT which my mother estimates at £52 odd. Not including the price of the test. Not including new frames. The £305 is the cost of the lenses, plain and simple.
