On Friday, I arrived at Lymington Pier and took this photo of the river while waiting to get on the Ferry to go to Yarmouth to celebrate the Old Gaffers Weekend. I have been told that a Gaffer refers to a triangular sail used in yachting. There is am Old Gaffers Festival every year and even for an ignorant landlubber it is always a lot of fun. Posted by Picasa
