Michelle was to have started a new job this evening and she got all her clothes ready before lunch because she was so pleased and excited. But at 14h30 the boss phoned her to say that the person who had resigned had changed her mind and therefore they did not need her services.
She was so disappointed that its no exaggeration to say that she was distraught for a whle. Poor little lass. She didn't deserve this!
