As far as the computer goes, I'm still downloading Windows Updates. It has been doing it for HOURS. After this, the dotNET framework will have to be installed. Then I will put Office back on and do Office Updates .....
Then all the other programs. And registering them on the websites after searching for their activation and registration keys. Just for the Printer there are two installation discs and it takes over half an hour to install it all.
Learn from my misery and do what I should have done. Get an imaging program like Aconis True Image, which restores all the programs with their updates in a matter of 20 min or so. I started work on this computer last night and it still needs several hours worth of work.
