My mum's Oriental cat, Jenny, hasn't been very well. My mum has taken her to the Vet and today the tests results were back. Jenny has end stage kidney disease and if she were a human, she would be on the transplant list. The Vet said she could go very quickly or it may take a couple of weeks.
Heartbreaking news. Especially as Josie is off to South Africa next week. She is agonising over whether to have Jenny put to sleep before she goes. It has been such a shock for her. When I have prayed for them, my prayer has been that God makes it as easy as possible for both of them.
I will miss Jenny too. She is such a sweetheart of a cat.
