Amazon

I've just bought some toys and counting DVDs for the children from Amazon.  When I was reviewing the basket at the Checkout, I noticed the postage costs were almost £15, and I felt I just couldn't pay that, so I removed some items.  The high postage costs were mostly from private sellers, and I understand that they have no choice but to charge for postage. Equally, I can choose not to pay that amount, and I did, but I'm sorry because some of the items were really lovely. 

The items from Amazon itself were reasonable because I qualified for Super Saver Delivery.  

Postage is a problem in terms of costs but also risky in terms of delivery with postal strikes threatening.  What a world we live in!
