To Town

Caelyn, Wendy, Brakkie and I went into town today even though it was quite cold because Wendy and Brakkie had Cabin Fever. We went to the Merchant Chandler to look for a particular bag - they didn't have it. We got some bitter lemon boiled sweets for when the medication makes my mouth dry. The butcher next to Waterstones was having a Special - a whole lot of rump steak for £4.99 so we got some for Nigel's birthday on Thursday. They have some very large and good looking legs of lamb there, also for £4.99 and I was tempted, but I'm sticking to my CAP budget!

Then we had a cheeseburger at the Yellow Cafe and Wendy enjoyed being part of it. She enjoys new places and new things to see. It was lovely all being out together. Lately when Wendy has gone for short walks in her pram, she has screamed when we got home, so we think she needs to get out more. I can't walk far - the corner shop takes about half an hour and that is with stops to sit on garden walls. Still, when it is warmer, we can plot a route with lots of benches to sit on and just take our time.

And Michelle says she had a good day at work. So - a good day all round.
