Poor little Wendy has Chicken Pox and she really isn't very well.
Being only 9 months old is an added risk, but her being breastfed reduces the risk so lets hope it all balances itself out. She isn't eating but she is drinking. I've told Kate to watch for dehydration as she has a bit of vomiting and diarrhoea. They have an appointment with the Dr at 08h40 tomorrow morning.
When my kids had chickenpox, I put Bicarb in their bathwater and painted them with calamine lotion to help with the itching. I've looked up the latest treatment, and these days apparently they give at-risk groups like babies an antiviral medication which is most effective if given early on in the course of the illness.
