Both of my grandchildren have Measles. Their ages are 16 months and 4 years.
They have both had their MMR jabs.
They are both healthy so we don't anticipate any complications with them.
They both live in Kent, and their GP will have to notify the Health Authority and the School, as it is a Notifiable Disease.
What worries me is that Wendy has been in contact with the classmate of a child on chemotherapy, and measles can be very serious in people with compromised immune systems. Measles does not cause deformities in unborn people like German Measles does BUT it can cause premature birth/miscarriage and severe anaemia in unborn people.
