Cold

What a thing a cold is! I have had one for a week now. Its definitely not 'flu; its just a cold.

But it has passed 04h30 and I cannot sleep. Within a couple of minutes of lying down, I get a choking cough spasm. So now I have been trying - unsuccessfully - to sleep sitting up in my armchair. I will have to phone at 08h40 to ask for an emergency appointment with the Asthma Nurse. I don't want to face a weekend feeling this unwell.

The inhalers have given me oral thrush as well, so I need to drink more water, which leads to frequent inevitable journeys to the bathroom that I don't really have the strength to do.
