The Official Announcement

Caelyn has asked me not to mention her special news until now.

Caelyn and Nigel are expecting their second baby in mid May.

They are delighted about it, but I would ask you to keep them in your prayers as pregnancy is hard on Caelyn due to kidney damage sustained in a childhood car accident. She asked me to delay the announcement until she was 13 weeks pregnant due to the possibility of miscarriage. She gave us a scare a week or two ago and had an emergency scan which showed a single viable foetus.

Wendy will be 3 in March and will then be eligible for extra hours at the Nursery school she loves. Poor Caelyn was quite upset as Wendy doesn't want to hang around for a kiss as she is so eager to get in the doors. She actually said "mummy go home. Wendy play"

Nigel is studying hard but finding the Auto Electrics difficult to grasp. He spent this afternoon studying while Caelyn and Wendy visited me. It would be impossible to do much studying with Wendy there. With all the work he is putting in, he deserves to do well, but we all have a subject we found difficult to get to grips with. I struggled with Physiology and Medical Biophysics. Sean struggled with the Law of Trusts. My mother struggled with Afrikaans. We all got there in the end though and I'm sure Nigel will too.
