Valentino - a Champion if ever I saw one.

I took this photo at a Cat Show held in Canterbury in 2005, just before June died. I went to see her on my way to the cat show and I went straight to her house to check up on her when I got back to Folkestone. It was a Saturday. That Tuesday she went to hospital and never came out.

I remember telling her about this cat. His name is Valentino and he is gorgeous. A Maine Coon. I have to admit, I'm smitten. After seeing him, I want one of my own. Very much. But it is out of the question for a number of reasons. You have to admit he is Magnificent. And massive! I've never seen a cat that size before. There was no trick photography I can assure you. I haven't the skills for that.

Ooh, he makes my heart speed up.
I wonder if he gives autographs? He deserves his own Fabulous Feline Fan Club.
