Michelle
Michelle spent the weekend in bed hoping to get over her bug so that she can go back to work. Although she is not completely well, she is a lot better and has indeed gone to work today. The weather is freezing with rain and a howling gale and she has to walk to work so I hope she will be all right.

Caelyn and Nigel
Caelyn and Nigel are both exhausted. They have had a bug too and Caelyn especially is absolutely worn out as she can't escape her duties as a Mother. She is feeling a bit down, mostly due to chronic pain, exhaustion, financial worries and that sort of thing. I told her that when a person is at the end of their tether all they can see are the negatives. She should look on the plus side: that with all the life stress they are going through, she has a good marriage, and a bonny, happy baby who is flourishing and thriving. She should giver herself a pat on the back for having done so well for so long and in difficult circumstances.

Weather and the Scooter
It is freezing with rain and a howling gale. The wind blew the cover off the scooter and it is completely soaked. As it is a small scooter, it is not weatherproof - its electric controls are not in a sealed unit so if water gets in there it will cause electrical problems. So I can't use it until it all dries out properly, and I wanted to do some shopping today. Girls Night In was cancelled on Friday because of Michelle's illness. We didn't want to risk my Mum or the baby catching it, so we are having it tonight, so I need to go out and get something to cook for them. It will be very difficult without the scooter.
