The Bed Saga

I'm sure you know my pine bedframe broke, so when I had some pennies, I bought a new iron and brass bed. The deliveryman arrived at 07h15, gave me 3 packages and left. When I opened them, I found that I had 2 lots of slats but no bedframe so I phoned the company to ask them to catch the driver before he left Kent. He came back at around 9am and gave me the bedframe. It took a while, but I got the bed together, then got the mattress on (that was the hardest part of the whole procedure!). When I had recovered a bit, I made the bed. Look at Madam Spikkeldy waiting on the bedside table. She supervised the whole process and was waiting for a chance to jump on the new bed and make herself comfortable.
