Sorry but you knew anyway........
This is a classic case of -
"For want of the nail, the shoe was lost" etc, etc.
Perhaps as a cheaper alternative,
it might be possible FOR YOU (and I stress)
for you...........
To find someone to repair, reinforce and weld
the seat in a fixed position,
this might provide a short/medium term solution -
But you obviously cannot expect any guarantee
of success in this and should of course inform
your insurer of any modification.
I must state again -
in my opinion the TGA Breeze in it's current conditition
is unsafe to use,
constituting a danger not only to the user but
also to others.
