The beach has shingle rather than sand. My grandparents had a pharmacy in Tunbridge Wells, which they used to close at lunchtime on a Wednesday. They then used to like visiting Eastbourne for the afternoon. Its a bit nostalgic and wistful seeing the place my grandparents loved so well, probably looking much the same as it did then.
