The weather has been incredibly muggy over the past week. Stifling and sticky. On Wednesday we had a thunderstorm which I hoped would clear it, but it didn't.
This evening it was cool enough to wear a light jersey but suddenly, wihin minutes, it was very hot and humid again. At first I thought it must be me and probably age related, but my mother and the baby felt it too. Wendy was crying and only settled when I realised she was hot too and stripped her down to her vest.
When Kate and Nigel came home, they had experienced exactly the same thing.
I can't explain it. It was just a matter of minutes between cool and very humid and hot. Ah well. There is probably some learned explanation for it.
