Caelyn and I took Wendy for her immunisations today. She won’t need any more for a year, thank heavens! She fell asleep after her injections and when she woke up she got mildly feverish and miserable. Caelyn gave her the Calpol that the nurse recommended. Even with it though, she isn’t a well girl.
The Health Visitor was very pleased with her and said her weight gain was “excellent” and that she was a healthy happy baby who was advanced for her age. She now weighs 6.74kg or over a stone or nearly 15lb, depending what weight system you understand. The Health Visitor saw her pulling herself up onto her legs and bearing all her weight when she was sitting on my knee. She also said that the birthmark that looks like a bruise should fade before she is 5. Lets hope so. It’s a dodgy place to have a bruise, and could make all sorts of people start “thinking”!!
