Wendy is 11 weeks old today and is thriving and flourishing.
Michelle has decided to take the temporary part time job in Norfolk. She is continuing with her diet and the weight loss is clearly noticeable. She is doing very well.
I have been quite ill this week. Caelyn cooked us some delicious stew and brought it around in her slow cooker so I wouldn’t have to cook. My vacuum cleaner has given up the ghost so she brought her hoover from Dover and vacuumed thoroughly so that Sean’s allergies would not worry him so much.
Sean took Anselm to Howletts Zoo today and he came here at about 6pm. We had a wonderful relaxed evening and he liked Caelyn’s stew so much he had second helpings. Melanie phoned from New Zealand and he enjoyed a brief conversation with her.
Nigel’s Crohns Disease has been bad this week, and he was a bit feverish with it. His Nanna has a chest infection so he and Caelyn went to see her and cook her a meal.
Josie has been ill too with some sort of bug. She was cold with her electric blanket on its highest setting, was feverish and nauseous, sleepy and lacking in energy.
I am starting to recover from my bout of ill health, and am very happy. I feel very blessed and happy in general even though my body no longer does what I would like it to. Its no use carrying on about it. My view is that God has allowed it and whatever He permits is for my own good. OK, I don’t like having ME, but since having it I have learned to be happy even with pain, nausea, exhaustion, brainfog and how to give and receive love. So, in a way, having ME has given me time to heal on the inside. I probably needed to be stopped in my tracks for the inner healing to begin.
