College Irritations
I’m doing a College course, and we have a disruptive young woman on the course. When she bothers to turn up, she is half an hour late, which interrupts the lesson. As she does not understand what has been taught in her absence, the Tutor has to explain it to her while the rest of us are bored.
She was 35 min late today, then began chattering to the person who sits next to her, then had an argument with the Tutor about her getting only 15% in her exam (“It was the f**kin’ compu’er) She then fell asleep and when she was woken, said she had only had two hours sleep the night before as her “partner” kept her up.
Next week she has to resit the exam, and the Tutor has told her to tell her “partner” that she has an exam in the morning and that she will need a good night’s sleep before she takes it. The Tutor said that we cannot spend any MORE time on this phase of the syllabus. We will be lucky to finish the syllabus as it is.
So next week while Sarah resits her exams, we can’t have a lesson because there has to be silence. So what will the rest of us do? We will be bored, as we are every time she is late or trying to catch up after an absence. And her chattering while the Tutor is teaching distracts me so I have trouble retaining what the Tutor is trying to say.
This course finishes in July. I have a slow-burning fuse, but I am getting increasingly irritated, and I doubt if I will get to July without having said a sharp word or two to that inconsiderate, tardy, irresponsible and unself-disciplined little madam.

Michelle went out with Ian, came back and went to bed early.
Caelyn and Nigel came round. They are having a Fair Rent Officer review their Rent Responsibility tomorrow.
Sean was in London for a Keys Committee meeting and only just caught the 22h30 out of London.
It was Anselm’s first day in his temping job.
And I need to go to bed.
