Kate, Nigel and Wendy arrived to meet Lisa here because she was going to bring her scissors and cut hair. Nigel took Michelle to work and had breakfast with Richard. Michelle is in training this week and her ear infection is still bad and very painful. When Nigel came back, we went shopping as I was almost out of cat food.
Then Lisa arrived - with her scissors.
Then Michelle and Josie arrived, followed a while later by Richard. Josie had picked Michelle up after her Training. Josie is suffering after the death of her friend Squibbs. They were very close and of course Josie feels bereaved. Everyone who knew Squibbs will feel a sense of loss because she was so lovely but Josie was very close to her. Of course she is sad, although she wouldn't wish her friend to be suffering any longer. So there are very mixed feelings there. I wish I had thought to remind my Mum that Jesus wept when His friend Lazarus died. It is OK to be sad even while believing that she is in heaven and has no more pain and is in a state of perfect bliss.
Sean went to London to meet Melanie MacDonagh who is going to take over as Master of the Catholic Writers Guild in January.
Caelyn has had her dyslexia assessed at College and she will have a person specially appointed to assist her with note taking and that sort of thing. She is very pleased about that.
