Next Week's Plans

There is an old proverb which says if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans! Well, we have plans and I hope God has no objections.

I was supposed to go with Caelyn and Nigel to Wales next Saturday, but as I wrote in my previous post, Sean and I haven't seen much of each other lately, so he wants me to go up to him next Thursday to go to Edinburgh with him for the weekend. If our hosts agree, we will stay until Monday morning when I will take a train along the prettiest stretch of railtrack in the country to Wales, where Nigel will pick me up from the station. God willing, I will come back with them on Saturday 15th.

While I am in Wales, the bishop of Le Puy will be staying with Sean and they have quite a full program. Sean has to fetch him from the airport on the very day he gets back from Edinburgh.

The weekend after, Sean will be busy presenting a courswe in Arundel so he is insanely busy. He loves doing these things but he gets so tired. I think it suits him that I have little energy because it means I'm more intrerested in staying in and reading than wanting to be taken out in a hectic social whirl.

My health still hasn't picked up and it is still quite a struggle to get the basics done.
