What a relief! Thank God!!

We have been in an agony of anxiety, dread and cold fear for the past couple of weeks because Social Services had contacted Kate to say they needed to investigate some allegations. She came today, and Kate kept her cool and said that she was exactly the right person to see her.

The allegations were that
a) the house was a mess so they "weren't coping" and
b) at 14 months, Wendy survives solely on breast milk.

The social worker saw Wendy eating and also her high chair at the family dining table so that concern was put to rest very quickly. Then Kate explained that they had only just moved in to their house and that as Wendy is an active toddler, they stop housework when she needs a game or a cuddle or a snack as Wendy's needs must come first.

The social worker said she has "absolutely no concerns" and that she would not be following it up any further.
This was obviously a malicious and vindictive allegation that turned out to be patently groundless.

Thank God! I didn't expect common sense to prevail and its so brilliant that it has.
