My health - whats left of it!

I saw my GP for a routine appointment today. My blood pressure is far too high plus I have odd pigmentation marks especially on my neck which is very red with what looks like dirt in the creases. I have felt humiliated by that because I know it isn't dirt and I exfoliate it and scrub it every day to no avail. Well, with the pigmentation and the high blood pressure she has ordered tests of my adrenal glands. If the adrenal glands aren't working too well, it would explain that plus the fact that I am permanently tired and have gained so much weight. Possibly also the fact that my face is very red sometimes or else chalky white without me being aware of it.

The ear I'm deaf in has 'glue' behind it but the cortisone nasal spray should fix that by reducing inflammation in the Eustachian tubes and I can expect to hear again within the next couple of weeks.

All in all, I left the surgery feeling much more optimistic about my health than I have for a while. And my friend Lisa is coming to do my hair tomorrow so things are looking up!

Even better, I have the bestest boyfriend in all the world. Not to mention the bestest little grandbaby that ever was born! We should carry on with our 'Woozle for Prime Minister' campaign.
