Earthquake Survey Results

I was asked to fill out an online questionaire about the earthquake last Saturday. The Geological Society sent me this today and I followed the link and found it very interesting.

Thank you for completing the British Geological Survey macroseismic
questionnaire for the Kent earthquake on 28 April. We received over one thousand
replies from members of the public all over southeast England. You can find the
results of the survey at http://www.quakes.bgs.ac.uk/earthquakes/reports/folkstone/folkstone_28_april_2007.htm. The maximum intensity is currently assessed as 8 EMS (European Macroseismic Scale); it is possible this may be downgraded to 7 EMS when the data have been fully analyzed. This is the highest recorded intensity for a British earthquake in over 100 years.
