The Peg game. She was asked to get a red peg, a blue one, a green one etc and I pegged them onto Kate. Wendy really joined in and made a great game of it. Here she has some in her hair, with the help of her Mum.
She certainly seems to be settling in to her new home. Perhaps it is because she has been breastfed for so long and the bond with her parents is deep so her security is in people rather than a 'thing' such as a soft toy or cot or any other 'thing'. In the 70s we were told that a child's best educational toy was its mother. Kate plays with her a lot and Nigel reads to her and talks to her. She is lucky in her parents.
