Before Easter I suddenly got earache and went deaf in my right ear. The Dr gave me a course of antibiotics and I took them but the situation is worse now. I have fever and my neck glands are so swollen I look like a hamster. I'm seeing the GP on call at 11.30 today and I hope it isn't the girl I saw last time because she made it blatantly clear that she didn't believe me. She was mostly interested in trying to send me to a smoking cessation clinic!!!
Well, this time the temp is up, my throat is red and swollen, and even a blind person in the dark would spot the swollen hamster-like neck, so I really hope the right course of treatment will be started today as I have been sick for weeks and I am fed up with it. If they don't do something today, I'll think about seeing the blasted Vet!! I've been sick, toxic, deaf and sore since before Easter and I have had enough.
