Puzzling!

Fat Father Jack and Madam Spikkeldy don't get on well and they usually ignore each other and keep out of each other's way. When I got back from Tonbridge, they were together in an old suitcase on top of my cupboard. This companionship is unheard of! I wonder what has come over them?

Unusually, I went to Sean on Saturday night as we were expecting Mickey and Mandy Cross to come for Sunday lunch and Sean wanted me to be there. I was glad I was - they are very nice people. On Saturday night, I made Apple Crumble and prepared the swede while Sean grated the cheese and set the table. And I put slivers of Garlic into the lamb and left it covered overnight, ready for roasting on Sunday. Sean and I had a great time in the kitchen together and Sunday lunch was very good, probably because as I had been allowed to "pace" my energy, I wasn't exhausted. I was tired when I got back to Folkestone though. Sean phoned to say he had a second helping for his dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it too.
