Terrie and my Mum came round to give me a hand with the preparations for Caelyn's 21st. We got a lot done and there remains a fair amount to do tomorrow.
I iced the cake, cooked the sausages, cleaned the fridge, made more salad, made loads of cheese biscuits and mountains of washing up. The chilli bites didn't turn out well.
Tomorrow, I pick up the steak and boerewors from the butcher in the morning.
- The house has to be cleaned.
- My hair needs an urgent shampoo and blowdry.
- I have to buy fresh rolls (I'm NOT making them!)
- and I have to buy the balloons,
- decorate the place,
- have a bath,
- put out the food and
- cook the boerewors, steak and garlic bread.
