Wendy will be 10 months old next Wednesday. She crawls at high speed and has to be watched every second. She has a top front tooth coming through and she enjoys the company of other children. She is interested in EVERYTHING.
Today she has an appointment at the hospital for blood to be taken for allergy testing and Kate is dreading it. So would I. Who enjoys taking their child to have blood taken? It has to be done though, because she is due to see the paediatrician in February as she definitely reacts to certain foods by going blotchy. It would be best if the precise problems were identified so that Kate can keep those foods away from her. She will probably outgrow them. Well, we hope so anyway. As I have said before, she doesn't react to essential foods, which is very fortunate.
Tomorrow, Girls Night In will be at Kate's house. She doesn't want to take Wendy out in all weathers, which is fair enough. I hope Nigel will soon be well again too. He is the driver so when he is ill, they go nowhere.
