I went to Sean’s on Thursday. We went to London for him to have his Wisdom tooth out on Friday. He coped and recovered better than I expected, but all the same, it was a bit of a shock for his system. It would be, wouldn’t it? He’s OK now, but it is just as well I went with him. It was a bit too strenuous for me and I was very tired and achy on Saturday. On Sunday I went home and straight to Josie’s because Michelle had not been able to find her key so she couldn’t get in to feed Jenny. She said that while she and Ian were there, the lady over the road came to ask what they were doing. It was actually quite brave, and elderly lady confronting two people both over 6’, late at night. It was good of her too, protecting my mum’s property like that. When I got back, Michelle’s room had been cleaned, the kitchen and passage painted, the kitchen reorganised with the cupboards scrubbed out ie a huge amount of work had been done. I was so touched, as I know how much work went in to it, and nobody is very well. I’m grateful to them. It was delightful, seeing Miss Wendy Woozle again. I missed her while I was away. The only annoying thing is that Mr Upstairs has parked so badly I can’t get my scooter under its cover. Men!!!
Nap? Me? Just kidding!
Being washed and changed is soooo tiring. I think I'll have a little nap.
My Uncle Brakkie always keeps a close eye on me.
Ooh grandma! What big eyes I've got!
All that unsettling business of being changed is worth it in the end.
Today I’m off to Tonbridge so that I can take poor Sean to have his wisdom tooth out tomorrow. He has never had any sort of surgery before and is fairly apprehensive. I will be back probably on Sunday, if he is well enough. He should be. We were supposed to look after my mum’s cat this weekend, but of course that isn’t possible now. So, Michelle is going to look after Josie’s cat. Caelyn can’t look after mine because she has her own cats at home. So her friends Sam and Matt are coming here to look after my pussycats. Matt is very fond of dogs, and Brakkie has taken a big shine to him, so hopefully that will be OK. Tomorrow, Miss Wendy Woozle will be 7 weeks old.
Ok, I'm tired now. Big yawn, then a nice bedtime snack at Mum's, then for a lovely sleep. Night night everyone.
Wow! My hands taste really great!
Starting to get tired now.
And please don't look at the rude thing I'm doing with my thumb.
Granny used to suck her fingers when she was a little sprogling.
Fingers taste very good
Fingers are fascinating
Miss Wendy Woozle has discovered her fingers
Daddy thinks the smell of baby-sick on Mummy isn't the best perfume ever invented, so Mummy baths at Granny's house before Daddy comes to fetch them. Granny looks after the beautiful Miss Woozle while Mummy enjoys a soak and a hairwash.
Then another cuddle with Mum
Brr! Its still wintery here, so mum had better hurry before Woozle gets cold!
There comes a time in a young person's life when they have to suffer the indignity of changing time
