Sean’s Birthday Michelle and I went to Tonbridge for Sean’s birthday. Apart from us, Anselm and Colin were there. We had roast beef and vegetables. Sadly, my ME has been playing up, and I had a substantial amount of pain before leaving Folkestone. When we got there, there was a lot of rushing, getting the dinner cooked, but that was OK. But at one point, everybody was in the kitchen, all talking at once, and my brain went into meltdown. It was hellishly difficult to try to remember what I was doing. My heart began racing and I felt shaky, and felt that everything was going on. It was too much, and I felt exhausted, dizzy and nauseous afterwards so I wanted to come home. I need time in my own bed, with peace and quiet. I need some recovery time. I have had symptoms for a while now, and really MUST be more self-disciplined about rest periods. Otherwise it all gets out of hand. Got an email from my tutor Ann this evening. She sent a mass email to everyone who passed Module 4, but said she hadn’t finished marking so she would send us our exact marks later. I’m delighted to have passed, as I really struggled with Excel.
Toby is tiny, isn't he?

Yesterday I visited Carole and had a nice chat with her Chris. On the way home I called in at Nanna’s to give Val a photo DVD of the baby Wendy, as Val is going home today. While there I had a rare flash of inspiration. It seemed to me that Nanna and Carole could be good for each other, so I fixed up a meeting. I hope it all works out well.
Michelle went to see her friend Gemma. Michelle has been on the diet that the Medical Herbalist prescribed, and she has been very good. But last night, she and Gemma had a Chinese meal, and poor Michelle came home with a very bloated tummy and a lot of pain. Her tum was bigger than Caelyn’s was at the last stage of pregnancy. I hope it has gone down today. Michelle says she has realised that she has to stick to the diet because the consequences of not doing so are severe. I wish her all the best with it.
I tried to draw money last night but the machine said I had entered an incorrect PIN. So I checked the card. It was Caelyn’s card, so no wonder the machine was complaining! She had been very worried about her missing card and was very relieved when I phoned her to say it had been left in my purse. She and Nigel came round to get it and I minded Wendy while they dashed out to get some shopping. They got some for me too. Wendy was OK, but I was changing her when they got back and I had to put on a new vest for her as it was wet. Like most babies she doesn’t like things being pulled over her head, so she was crying. I felt quite guilty with Caelyn coming in and finding her daughter crying, as I had promised to call her mobile if Wendy was upset. Caelyn and Nigel very kindly got me some shopping too.
