Mum got to Norfolk OK.  

Sean held the AGM of the Catholic Writers Guild, and was appointed Master for another year.  He says it takes up too much time so after this year, he does not want to be re-elected.  He got home just before midnight, and it was minus 5o , and even colder weather is forecast.  

Spoke to Caelyn at length.  She feels better about the scan news after having a good sleep.  She actually cooked a proper meal for her and Nigel tonight.  Nigel has been very good about helping around the house and making her rest, but he is in bed ill with his Crohns at the moment.  Nigel and I are going on a Computer Course in Ashford this Saturday. I had said I wasn’t going to go, but they thought it was because I couldn’t find the course fees, so they enrolled me and paid the fees, then came and told me that I was going.  I’m actually looking forward to it.  It is just a one day course, but it will be useful, and I was touched by their kindness.

I am off to Tonbridge on Thursday because Sean is taking his Office staff out to dinner and he wants me to go with them.  We are going to the Portugese restaurant in Hadlow – it will be a real treat – the food is fabulous there.  And the owners are lovely people.  When I go up, I will pop into Specsavers and pay for my glasses to be made up as I am really having quite serious vision problems.  

I’m not looking forward to it getting any colder.  Brrrr!!
