Computer Course
Nigel and I went on a Computer course in Ashford today. It was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed the morning, but by the afternoon, I couldn’t concentrate and was achy. My throat began getting sore and the glands began going up, so the afternoon wasn’t so good for me.
Learning this is no bad thing. At the moment, my body will let me sit and learn for part of a day, but a whole day is too much for me and the old symptoms start kicking off. So, if I went back to a quiet office based job, I could cope with part time work but definitely not full time yet.
The Tutor, Chris Crook, suggested that I do two courses, one in graphic design and one on web page design. He said that they were both well paid and could be done from home. That would suit me very well. I will look in to it, but I know before I start that there is a vast amount to learn, and it could take some time. So, the sooner started, the sooner I will get the qualifications.
Remember that old proverb? “The journey that takes the longest is the one that is never started.” So I’d better get cracking if I ever hope to finish.
