Melanie phoned from New Zealand tonight, and it was lovely to talk to her. She is happily engaged to Peter. They had the boys for Christmas and Mike has got them now.  It was good to hear from her.  She was a bit envious of my having the original Camelot with Richard Harris and Vanessa Redgrave.

Sean had a terrible journey in the snow today, with huge tailbacks on the motorway.  He came via Bedford as he wanted to see Sylvia and George, and it took him and Anselm 4 hours to get home.  I am supposed to go up and see him tomorrow, but I won’t if the weather is still this bad.  He is leaving for Vienna on 29th so if we don’t see each other tomorrow, it will be after he gets back in the New Year.

Caelyn is thrilled to bits with the maternity corduroy trousers Michelle got her for Christmas.  She says they are soft and warm and very very comfortable.  

Have aches, pains and tiredness now, so am off to bed with my Fat Cat.
