Jack

I really enjoyed making this one of Jack. In the original photo he was sitting on a tray next to the kettle on top of the microwave oven. I used a watercolour effect and fiddled around with spotlight lighting and texture. Posted by Picasa
This is another avatar I made for Caelyn, but she doesn't like this one. Posted by Picasa

Poppy

Poppy is Caelyn's cat. She has joined the cat chat board and uses this as her Avatar. Posted by Picasa

I use this one as an Avatar on my cat chat board. Is it scary? Some people think it is. Posted by Picasa

My Beloved Fat Boy

The kids think it is rude to refer to his size. Actually, Jack is a Fat Cat by nature :) Posted by Picasa

Fat Jack fancies the scooter

We found Jack under my old scooter. Here he is, years later, enjoying the sun as he lies on the floor of my newer scooter. Cats and Comfort, eh? Posted by Picasa
Stretch marks already! And the baby is lying low in her pelvis and the way she kicks against Caelyn's hip bone is uncomfortable.

Still, she is happy that the nausea is less severe. She has lost in excess of a stone in weight since being pregnant. She is keeping more down now, thank goodness. Posted by Picasa
Caelyn has just found out at her 21 week scan, that the baby is a little girl. She is thrilled to bits. They plan to call her Wendy, after Nigel's late mother. Posted by Picasa
This cat finds the most awkward places to adopt as sleeping spaces. Luckily, he changes them fairly frequently. I'm terrified he will get burned! Posted by Picasa

Skippy at June's House

On Tuesday I went up to June's house to get Skippy's dog food and bowl. I was surprised and saddened at his reaction. He didn't want to get off my scooter at first, but then he sniffed around the garden. Then he came and sat on the step leading into the front door, but he wouldn't follow me inside. I'm sure he understands that she is gone and that he can't live there any more.

I will do my best for the little chap. He seems quite happy. Poor little lad!

June's Funeral

I heard today that June's funeral will be on Monday 7 November at 10h15 at the Hawkinge Crematorium.
She died on 23 October. Isn't that a bit long to wait for a funeral????
I hope the service will do her justice. These crematorium jobs can be a bit bleak.

Caelyn's Scan

Caelyn had her 21 week Anomaly Scan today. The baby looks fine, but a bit of a smaller than expected waist circumference. The head couldn't be properly examined because it was too deep in the pelvis so she has to have another scan next week.
It looks like it is a little girl :)

June Woodroffe RIP

My dear friend June was taken ill last Tuesday and went to hospital. She arrested and was put on a Ventilator in Intensive Care.

Yesterday morning, 23 Octover 2005, she quietly passed away.

Her three legged dog, Skippy, and I will look after each other now, but we will never forget dear June.

June and Skippy

Isn't this how we will always remember June? In her favourite armchair with her dog and a cup of tea next to her.

Dear June, may you Rest in Peace. Thank you for bringing Skippy and I together. We will look after each other now. Posted by Picasa
