It was Ian's 30th birthday this weekend so he and Michelle partied. We offered him an armchair and slippers, but he wasn't grateful! She came back a bit pie-eyed, having had a good time.
June and Skippy were staying with me because June has bronchitis and didn't want to go to hospital - can't blame her. But Skippy bit Caelyn, who was very cross.
She and Nigel have found a two bedroomed house with a garden in a quiet part of Dover. Sean loaned them their deposit, and they move on 8 October.
On Saturday I had a terrible day. I was searching through town for Michelle's college textbook, which was out of print. Why would a college ask people to buy books that are out of print? I got my college textbook though.
My computer died, and I had to get it fixed because of College. It went to the PC Clinic and Mr Johnstone worked on it over the weekend and brought it back on Sunday evening, in good order.
On the way back from the PC Clinic on Saturday, I had an accident on my scooter. I was going slowly because the battery was running very low, and as I was passing the Tudor Lodge driveway (which was obscured by a hedge) a woman in a red car was driving out, also slowly. Even so, we crashed even though I swerved and we both braked. Neither of us was hurt and there wasn't damage to our vehicles, but we both got a terrible fright. I'm sure that the obscuring hedge was at the bottom of the problem. The shock had its effects by reactivating my ME Symptoms, and I feel quite unwell.
But hey! unwell or not, life goes on, and I have to bath and get myself off to college.
