When Caelyn returned from her Honeymoon, she found out that she is pregnant. The baby is expected at the end of February beginning March 2006.
She is happy, weepy, irritable, nauseous and very weary/sleepy. And very "clingy" - she wants her mum like never before. We have only known for about a week, and already it feels like a very looooooong pregnancy. She wants me to be her birthing partner because I've always been able to "steady" her and labour will be stressful for her. Of course she wants Nigel there too, but she wants me particularly. She and I have always been close.
Everyone has mixed feelings about a pregnancy coming so soon in the marriage. We are pleased for them, but worry that they don't have a decent/comfortable place to live. Their Attic flat is sweltering in summer and freezing in winter. They want to move of course, but they can't without compromising their position on the council Waiting List. And we haven't paid off the wedding yet so there are financial worries too.
But as Julian of Norwich famously said : All will be well.
